    Originally opened in 1929, the Sweet Briar College Library was one of the first buildings completed as part of the campus master plan. After additions in the 1960's, the latest renovation/addition highlighted the beauty of the original architecture while also adding more space for students. The addition made in the 60's was removed and replaced with large glass windows edged in grey slate.
